Smokers and Dermal Fillers
Lip lines are natural occurring signs of aging. Mainly, lip lines are caused by the sun or heavy use over a lifetime of lipstick. Lip lines are also caused by smoking.
When you smoke, you are actually burning your lips. Sure, there is the fire component of a cigarette, but what you really have to worry about is the additional chemical compounds that make up a cigarette and all the different chemical reactions that are going on during the smoking of a cigarette. This all means that lip lines caused by cigarette smoking are not the natural lip lines caused by aging or over exposure to the sun. Cigarette smoking caused lip lines are actually chemically induced damaged lips.
Certainly worse things can happen than lip lines with a life-time habit of cigarette smoking, such as lung cancer, heart disease, and the development of emphysema.
Many of these blog posts have all ready mentioned lip enhancement, and for remedying lip line problems lip enhancement is basically what we are discussing. Of course, the not so easiest thing to do is probably just stop smoking. But easier said than done sometimes, right?
The good news is that some very innovative techniques involving dermal fillers have recently came out on the market to specifically treat lip line issues which give some amazing almost immediate results.
Other lip line treatments involve lasers cutting into the lip tissue to force lips to produce new, young, and fresh skin. Dermal fillers seem the optimum choice here though, and much less painful than a laser cutting into your skin, I would think—especially skin in such a sensitive area as your lips.
